Le vase série "Mille Chemins 2" en Grès blanc est une pièce unique, tournée et modelée à la main pour créer une forme organique et naturelle, à laquelle j'ai sgrafitté de fines rainures qui toutes ensembles forment ces sillons qui me font penser à certains paysages de dunes blanches. Il a eu un dégourdi (première cuisson). L'intérieur et l'extérieur sont recouverts d'un émail blanc mat. Il est étanche.
The vase from the "Mille Chemins 2" series, made of white stoneware, is a unique piece, thrown and hand-shaped to create an organic and natural form. I have engraved fine grooves using the sgraffito technique, which together form furrows that remind me of certain beach landscapes. It has undergone a bisque firing (first firing). Heures de réalisation: 10 h entre le modelage, l'affinage et l'émaillage.C'est une estimation aproximative. En réalité il y'a plusieurs étapes. Modeler la pièce au tournage, une fois en concistance cuir, tournasser la pièce. Sur cette pièce je lui ai donné un motif texturé en la sgrafittant. Ensuite la première cuisson nomée dégourdi quand il s'agit du grés. Pour finir l'émaillage et une dernière cuisson.
Entre temps de séchages, étapes et cuissons il faut bien compter 10 jours. Une cuisson dure environ 34 heures.

Creation time: Approximately 10 hours, including shaping, refining, and glazing. This is an estimated duration, as the process involves multiple steps. First, the piece is shaped on the wheel. Once it reaches a leather-hard consistency, it is trimmed. For this particular vase, I added a textured pattern using the sgraffito technique. Then comes the first firing, known as bisque firing when working with stoneware. Finally, the piece is glazed and undergoes a final firing.
With drying times, various stages, and firings, the entire process takes about 10 days. A single firing lasts approximately 34 hours.
This vase is ideal for holding lush bouquets, with an opening diameter of 8,5 cm.
